Your Wellness Guide to Covent Garden
Make your stay with us a wellbeing one.
Covent Garden is a fantastic location for dining and shopping, but it is also the perfect place to prioritise your health and fitness.
Here are our tips for reviving your mind, body and soul during your stay with us.
Getting those steps in
The great thing about Covent Garden is that most of it is pedestrian only, making for the perfect spot to get your steps in on a stroll or run. We recommend doing this first thing in the morning as the streets will be a little quieter.
We suggest exploring Floral Street, the vibrant Neal’s Yard, and meandering through Seven Dials. You can also explore hidden gems such as Cecil Court, nicknamed Bookseller’s Row, and St Martin-in-the-Fields Church.
Rain stop play? No matter, head down to our discreet yet spacious gym, fitted with the latest technical equipment, free weights and stretching space.
You will no doubt be ready for a delicious breakfast in Indigo afterwards!
Grab yourself some new kit
Treat yourself to some new gym kit – sometimes a new outfit can be just the trick to get you motivated to prioritise your health. We’re lucky to have several premium brands on our doorstep, including the new three-storey ALO Yoga flagship store, HOKA, Vuori and Peloton.
End the day with a splash (and sauna!)
Nothing beats a gentle swim followed by a session in the sauna to ease your body after a day of activity. Our 18-metre lap pool is our hidden gem, nestled under the hotel and seemingly a million miles from the bustle of the streets above. It is also chlorine-free, for a delightful underwater experience without the usual harsh chemicals.
Cap the day off with a delicious meal in Indigo. If you’re looking for something a little lighter, opt for our roasted butternut squash velouté or winter vegetable salad, followed by seared halibut or baked celeriac. Overseen by Executive Chef Dominic Teague, Indigo’s menu exemplifies his childhood love of the outdoors and what each season brings. Dominic goes to extraordinary lengths to source his ingredients from trusted, British independent producers who support his commitment to seasonal and sustainable cooking.
