This Halloween our frightfully good mixologists have created a mysterious new drink that’s so good, it’s scary! If you’re visiting Covent Garden over the weekend then do stop by at the Lobby Bar to try one or stay home with the trick or treaters and mix one yourself.

Not for the faint-hearted, this serve is a masterful mix of warming rum and coffee – just the thing for a damp autumn evening. Blending two of the finest Bajan rums – Doorly’s and Foursquare – the drink is given a seasonal punch with creamy pumpkin spiced liqueur, finished with deep coffee flavour.

Try your hand at making your own with the simple recipe below or drop by the bar to have one mixed to order.

MIX YOURSELF A PUMPKIN POTION

INGREDIENTS

Makes 1 cocktail:

• 30ml Doorly’s XO rum
• 20ml Foursquare spice rum
• 10ml Plantation Overproof
• 10ml Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur
• 15ml coffee liqueur
• 20ml of espresso
• 10ml Jägermeister

Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake to cool over plenty of ice.  

Simply pour into your favourite short tumbler and sip into the night.
