On Wednesdays, we wear pink. On Fridays, we are ready to grab you a great ticket to the Mean Girls musical at the Savoy Theatre and send you off with a cool cocktail and a serious super-snack that will have any onlookers desperate to be part of your clique.

It’s 20 years since Tina Fey wrote her razor-sharp tale of less-than-pretty high school posturing and politics, and this musical version, previously staged on Broadway (and adapted for the 2024 film remake) brings the acerbic lines bang up to date.

To get you in the ‘mean girl mood’, our mixologist has conjured a cocktail monikered ‘She doesn’t even Sloe here’, referencing one of the most iconic lines in the film and show; ‘She doesn’t even go here’. So natch, this pink perfection stars Plymouth Sloe Gin as the key ingredient, along with Malfy Gin Con Limone, Chambord raspberry liqueur, Henners rosé sparkling wine and cranberry juice. For an accompanying snack with attitude, we’re serving up mini burgers in a brioche bun with tomato jam, caramelised onion and truffle mayonnaise (a vegetarian option is, of course, available).
